How does it work?

Walgreens Ready Response provides help at the touch of a button. Pressing the button on the Ready Response unit or on the pendant will alert our emergency response center where professional, friendly staff will have all of your relevant details at hand and can send the most appropriate help immediately. This could be a listed Responder who has access to a key to your home, or emergency services.

There’s no need to worry about remembering phone numbers, someone not being at home to receive the call, or disturbing anybody during the night. The pendant can be used from anywhere in the home. If the operator gets no response when they speak via the clear loudspeaker on the Ready Response unit they will automatically send out help.

The service brings great comfort to family and friends knowing that their loved ones have help close at hand 24hrs a day.

In order for us to provide the Walgreens Ready Response service you will need:

  • A working telephone landline socket within 6 feet of an electrical outlet. (Vi only)
  • To be a resident in the United States or Puerto Rico.

The above prices include free rental of the equipment, including shipping and handling to the subscriber’s address via UPS Standard Delivery. UPS Expedited delivery options are available at additional cost.

Will the operator be able to hear me from everywhere in my home?

The unit is designed with a highly sensitive microphone to enhance communication between you and the Response Center operator.

How far away will the help button work?

Range varies based on environmental factors but the help button is designed to work up to approximately 390ft (120m) away from the Console Unit.

What if I accidentally press the help button on the console unit or                  pendant activator?

There is no reason to worry if this occurs. You can either press the RESET button on the Console Unit to cancel the call or inform the operator that you accidentally activated the unit.
